**NOTAM!!! WHEN YOU TYPE IN THE FORM PROVIDED: Please save the form as an image file (choose the JPG option) and email that to Heather. The newer, cloud and fee based version of Adobe's program will NOT save your information in an email-able fashion. You will be able to save your PDF that you type on your computer, but not share it unless you do this (or you can print it out and snail mail it to her the old fashioned way).
CATEGORIES FOR SCORING LISTED ON FORM--Southwest Section (from the SWS 99s chapter chairman's manual)
"Part of the mission statement of 99s International directs us to "Provide...aviation education in the community." Take a peek at the activities listed on the form that qualify for "points" when we compete for this award at spring section meeting. Members and chapters who participate in these varied projects reap immeasurable gratification and "just plane fun" from presenting Flying Companion Seminars, working with school children, flying local official and educators...and the list goes on. The only problem is that we're so busy "doing" we often don't record our activities for a whole year.
Active chapters are a lot more interesting and the vitality is catching!"GOOD IDEAS: All activities need DATE/NAME OF EVENT/PERSONS ATTENDING. Perhaps if we all keep an Aero Educ. form in our log books, on our calendars, with our rosters, or some other handy place, we'll be more inclined to fill it out on a regular basis. It is very difficult for the Aero. Educ. chair to compile data at the last minute, so please do what you can
Helpful Tip: KEEP THE SCORE SHEET PAGE IN YOUR LOG BOOK OR A SAFE PLACE AND ADD YOUR DATES AND ACTIVITIES ON IT MONTHLY,QUARTERLY OR AS YOU DO THEM.
